In Concord NH I am holding a support group for RSD patients and their families
. I was diagnosed in Febuary of 2005 with Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy , in 1999 I was injured during Army basic training
and was not treated promptly ,the injury involved my right ankle .As the years went by the pain kept getting worse and the
VA was never able to give me a proper diagnosis or any at all ,so I took it upon myself to take it to a doctor outside of
the VA ,after looking at my past VA records and examining me he finally gave me my diagnosis of RSD .
This particular doctor is also aware of the undertreatment and lack of knowlege in the medical
community about RSD.
My goal is to promote awareness at all levels of government ,the media and the medical community.
I would like to invite you to join the support group at my home in Concord NH ,to share your
stories and to give you a place for you and your family to come together with others who share this disease and to help support
one another .
